Freshman Academy Explores Marshall University Campus
Posted on 05/10/2017

Students in the Huntington High School Freshman Academy visited the campus of Marshall University on May 3, 2017.

Tours were given of Arthur Weisberg Family Applied Engineering Complex, Marshall Recreation Center, and Robert C. Byrd: Senator, Statesman, West Virginian traveling exhibit.  While there, students participated in a scavenger hunt to explore the history of the campus.  A panel discussion took place with Marshall University students to learn about the 1970 plane crash and the meaning of Memorial Fountain, built to honor the lives lost.
